Our workshops do not make any assumptions about anyone’s sexual orientation, gender identity, or sexual history or practice.

All of the youth workshop see parents as the primary educator for sexual health and education but acknowledge that not all families are confident educating their children. With this in mind, parents are not able to sit in on youth sessions. Parents are invited to meet with the facilitator before each session during open office hours to review the workshop plan with the understanding that workshops topics may change based on the information that the youth are seeking.
Imagine Your Body
"Imagine Your Body for Tweens" are a half day seminar covering a range of topics for youth getting ready or in the throws of puberty who are interested in knowing more about how their bodies and their peers bodies work.
The workshop is geared to cover anatomy, puberty, menstruation, and body image.

These workshops helps 8-12 year old children learn about and discuss the physical and emotional changes of puberty. The session offers accurate, unbiased information on human sexuality to preteens who can then use it to make responsible decisions and stay healthy.
All materials used are inclusive and age appropriate for children within and outside of traditional cisgender norms.
Information used in the workshop follows SIECUS guidelines & meets or exceeds the National Sexuality Education Standards for children ages 9-12 although not all topics can be covered in a single workshop.

Classes are taught by a trained 'Our Whole Lives' Sexual Education facilitator who is also a licenced Massachusetts Health & Consumer Sciences Special Educator who specializes in Art Therapy and Health & Life Skills education. (Mass. Teachers License #442750)
